February 14, during Stockholm Fashion week,the Swedish super success fashion brand Odd Molly celebrated the opening of their flagship store in Stockholm. The 300 fashion elite guests were entertained by the music of Meja and could enjoy beautiful pastry from KC Wallström along with 4 different Sparkling Vodka Martini´s, all with a rose theme specially created for the evening.

Swedish Snowstorms at Mondän!

Paul Richardson, UK Brand Development Director, visited restaurant Mondän in Stockholm and introduced the London super success shot “Swedish Snowstorm”. This shot along with many other Camitz Sparkling Vodka cocktails and shots can be enjoyed at Mondän, one of Stockholms finest dining venues, famous for it´s small but lively bar and warm and welcoming staff.

Nobel Night Cap 2008

The Nobel Prize Party, always hosted in Stockholm the 10th of December each year, is by tradition followed by the afterparty Nobel Night Cap. This year hosted by KTH and arranged in the most impressive way, 1200 guests attended including all the Nobel Prize winners and the Swedish Royal Family. This is the second time Camitz Sparkling Vodka have the honour of treating the guests at this event and in the submarine theme designed lounge and bar, straight Sparkling Shots and Sparkling Vodka Champagne Cocktails could be enjoyed with oysters. The party went on until 5 in the morning…

Original Penguin European Flagship Store Launch 27th November 2008

To celebrate their new European flagship store, American heritage fashion brand Original Penguin hosted an exclusive in-store launch party. Celebrity fans of Original Penguin who attended the event included the actor Martin Freeman, bands The Metro’s, Pint Shot Riot and April in Paris, and milliner Philip Treacy to name but a few. Camitz Sparkling Vodka set up a pop-up bar within the store where our expert mixologists, dressed in Penguin’s Pima Cotton Polo Shirt, wowed the guests with their creations. On arrival guests were given a Penguin Snowstorm Shot followed by Camitz Sparkling Lavender and Apple Sour Cocktails. In between requests from the DJ booth for more Penguin Snowstorm Shots, Saint Etienne and Heavenly Jukebox battled it out on the decks, followed by Florence and the Machine & The Queens of Noise who got the party jumping to some 80s and 90s classics. Don Letts, the pioneer of Punk and Reggae fusion, rounded off the night with his pumped up baselines.

Karaoke Box First Birthday Party 19th November 2008

Karaoke Box, one of London’s first ever private-roomed karaoke clubs and a popular late night spot for celebs including Kate Moss and Agyness Deyn, celebrated the first birthday of its sleek and spacious venue in Smithfield. VIP guests were treated to a night of glitz, glamour and luxury Karaoke, topped with electrifying Camitz Sparkling cocktails to warm up their vocal cords and bring out their inner Frank Sinatra or Aretha Franklin.  The Camitz Sparkling cocktails created by the Karaoke Box’s Head Barman included the Sing Tini with Strawberry Liqueur and puree, and Sparkling Tini’s with Apple Sour, Midori, Kiwi Schnapps and a dash of Grenadine.  The Puppini sisters, oozing 1940s style, started proceedings with their tongue-in-cheek retro swing numbers. With a martini in one hand and a microphone in the other, the more extroverted guests took part in the big Sing-Off after which guests took to the private rooms to sing their hearts out.

Mimco at the Mary Ward House

Mimco, one of Australia’s leading accessories labels, held a party at the Mary Ward House in London on the 5th November to celebrate their launch in the UK and the opening of five stores across the capital. Known for their beautiful and innovative accessories, Mimco’s current collection features gorgeous bags, eye-catching jewellery inspired by the Far East, as well as gloves, hats and scarves. Attended by London’s fashion and style crowd, guests were treated to Camitz Sparkling Vodka shots on arrival putting that smile on their faces. Music was supplied by celebrated DJ Tommy Crane.

The Swedish American Chambers of Commerce New York hosted on September 24th The Royal Green Award Dinner at Tavern On The Green in Central Park in the presence of HM. King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. The 200 guests of honour, including the CEO:s from some of Sweden´s and the USA´s most recognised companies, enjoyed Camitz Sparkling Vodka Apple Martini´s and an excellent and entertaining dinner that also included food for thought from featured speakers such as Professor Michael Oppenheimer, Princeton University, and Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Columbia University.
