Original Penguin European Flagship Store Launch 27th November 2008

Monday, December 15th, 2008

To celebrate their new European flagship store, American heritage fashion brand Original Penguin hosted an exclusive in-store launch party. Celebrity fans of Original Penguin who attended the event included the actor Martin Freeman, bands The Metro’s, Pint Shot Riot and April in Paris, and milliner Philip Treacy to name but a few. Camitz Sparkling Vodka set up a pop-up bar within the store where our expert mixologists, dressed in Penguin’s Pima Cotton Polo Shirt, wowed the guests with their creations. On arrival guests were given a Penguin Snowstorm Shot followed by Camitz Sparkling Lavender and Apple Sour Cocktails. In between requests from the DJ booth for more Penguin Snowstorm Shots, Saint Etienne and Heavenly Jukebox battled it out on the decks, followed by Florence and the Machine & The Queens of Noise who got the party jumping to some 80s and 90s classics. Don Letts, the pioneer of Punk and Reggae fusion, rounded off the night with his pumped up baselines.

Karaoke Box First Birthday Party 19th November 2008

Monday, December 15th, 2008

Karaoke Box, one of London’s first ever private-roomed karaoke clubs and a popular late night spot for celebs including Kate Moss and Agyness Deyn, celebrated the first birthday of its sleek and spacious venue in Smithfield. VIP guests were treated to a night of glitz, glamour and luxury Karaoke, topped with electrifying Camitz Sparkling cocktails to warm up their vocal cords and bring out their inner Frank Sinatra or Aretha Franklin.  The Camitz Sparkling cocktails created by the Karaoke Box’s Head Barman included the Sing Tini with Strawberry Liqueur and puree, and Sparkling Tini’s with Apple Sour, Midori, Kiwi Schnapps and a dash of Grenadine.  The Puppini sisters, oozing 1940s style, started proceedings with their tongue-in-cheek retro swing numbers. With a martini in one hand and a microphone in the other, the more extroverted guests took part in the big Sing-Off after which guests took to the private rooms to sing their hearts out.
